A Sponsor is a current CPCU who is willing to share his/her experiences as a CPCU Candidate. Advice is given on how to sequence exams, how to prepare for the exam, self-study or class. Sponsors are most valuable if a candidate "stubs a toe" providing encouragement and a push to continue.

As much or as little as you can. A phone call periodically, maybe a business lunch to discuss strategy and a congratulatory note or call once an exam is completed.
