The meeting was called to order at 12:33 P.M. during the welcome reception for New Designees at the I-Day break.

Pete welcomed the new designees and introduced Society President Elect Bruce Williams.

The minutes of the November Board Meeting were approved.

Authorization to pay ISOP renewal membership dues for 2000 - $130: A motion was made, seconded and approved to pay the dues.

Status of Chapter Coffee Mug Gift Item: Pete advised that he had received the Society’s approval to use the logo and he ordered 144 mugs which should be received in January.

Cancun Trip - June and October following Convention in San Antonio: Pete passed out flyers and advised that the information is on the web site and that the trip is one worth taking according to Kathryn Frey, President of the Tidewater Chapter who is trying to organize this trip.

Las Vegas NLI Society/Chapter Conferences - June 8-10, 2000: Pete will be attending and was invited to be a speaker on the panel for chapter websites. Other officers interested should think about attending and bring it up at a future Board meeting.

Fire Essay Award Ceremony Result - Council Rock - Nov. 22^nd & 23^rd. Pete advised that everything went well at both locations. Cindy Wolkiewicz assisted Pete on the 23^rd and the program was on live television, video cable TV replay for 14 consecutive days and in local newspapers.

Programs for Jan. 20^th & Feb. 17^th: Ann advised that Bob Persico, ACE-USA will discuss "Worker’s Compensation for Telecommuters" for the January 20th meeting but has not lined up anyone for the February meeting.

Chaptergram - December issue should be in mail shortly: Pete advised that the Chaptergram will be mailed soon and will cover the annual meeting in Boston.

Acknowledgment of Jo Battisti Award - Outstanding Woman 1999 Newtown Township, Delaware County Council of Republican Women: Pete congratulated Jo for the award.

Website: Pete discussed the web site and the updating process. Clint advised that the Society considers it one of the best Chapter websites in the country.

September 1999 CPCU Completers list is out: Pete advised that our chapter has 8 new designees on the year 2000 completion list based on September exam series passers provided by the Society and has posted their names on our website.

New Designees in Attendance: The agenda listed Pete and Pat Mahoney and they were introduced along with the rest of the new designees in the beginning of the program. Many of the Officers and Directors talked about how the Chapter operates and encouraged all to become involved.

Committee Reports: Rina talked about the possibility of having a mix and mingle where all active members would meet at a local establishment on a quarterly basis. This was deferred to the January meeting at which time Rina is to lead the discussion.
