PHILADELPHIA CHAPTER - RICH IN TRADITION

According to the records at the National CPCU Society, the Philadelphia Chapter began as a Chapter on January 1, 1947.  This means that in January of 1997 our Chapter celebrated its 50th anniversary.  In preparation for the celebration a committee was formed under the direction of past Presidents Art Hanebury, CPCU (1990-91) and T.C. McDonnell, CPCU (1995-96).

One of the ideas the committee implemented was to have some of the past Presidents give a mini presentation at the monthly breakfast meetings.  These presentations began in January 1997 and and continued through December 1997.  A grand celebration with a huge 50th birthday cake was held during the November 1997 Philly I-Day.
