Welcome to the Chapter President's Award page.

Beginning in 1999 the Chapter instituted a President's Award whereby the outgoing Chapter President would bestow a special noteworthy award for outstanding performance to a Chapter Member or Members of the Year.  The recipient is at the sole discretion of the Chapter President and the award is presented at the Chapter Annual Business Meeting in June of each year.  We will publish the names and photos of each yearly recipient below.  The President and the Board of Directors are pleased to honor those recipients who have given so much of their time and service to help make the Chapter so successful.

1998-1999 busmt99b.jpg (47678 bytes)The first award was a tie according to Chapter President Sandra Loebs, CPCU (R) as the New Designee Committee in it's entirety was deserving of her special recognition.  Shown receiving their award are left to right: Tina McGarrigle, CPCU, Kristin McCuen, CPCU, Lilly Cowan, CPCU and Mary Ann Ryan, CPCU.
1999-2000 biz2000a.jpg (18178 bytes)Chapter President Pete Palestina, CPCU presented the 1999-2000 President's Award to Chapter Treasurer Richard J. Lee, CPCU.  Rick was elected as a Director in 1996 and stepped up to Treasurer on April 17, 1997 to fill a vacancy.  He has remained Treasurer ever since and has lent stability to that job.  Rick also was instrumental in setting up the Chapter's Scholarship Fund and in it's fundraising efforts.  As Palestina puts it "Rick has never refused to do something that was asked of him, and he does it well".
