Hanebury were among the first to purchase Chapter coffee mugs introduced at our Jan. 20,
2000 meeting. The mugs contain the Chapter and Society logos and went for sale at $5
each with the proceed going to our Scholarship Fund. |

The Chapter's Membership
Committee organized a Mix & Mingle on April 26th with the Casualty Underwriters Club
of Philadelphia, offering opportunities to encourage prospective members to find out more
about both organizations. It was such a success that it may be continued as an
annual event. |
The Chapter introduced
its first fashion line with the official Philly Chapter mugs in February. The hats were
introduced in April (white) and May (tan). They are sold at meetings at $10 for the hats
and $5 for the mugs. Proceeds go to the Scholarship Fund. |

May 6, 2000 Philadelphia Special Olympics. Chapter

Kicking off the Society's
Anti-Fraud Campaign, Chapter President Pete Palestina spoke on the subject at the May 9th
meeting of the Police Chiefs Association of Bucks County, PA where 32 Municipal Chiefs of
Police were on hand to hear the presentation. |
